hi ya karl mate ;) would like to hear you do some new stuff, your first cd was pretty cool.

wezentiger got your cd today, cheers guys.
nice track selection. although couldnt make much sense of the semi track listing ? was a tad disopinted to be honest thought there would be some of your own tracks in their. mixing was generally ok, but all the tracks seem to play to the end, this for me makes hard work of listening, as the music keeps looseing momentum, would have liked to heard more adventurus mixing. nice variration of styles too, but i didnt feel the mix had direction, in this i mean building, the cd starts of quiete hard before tranceyfying off, twisting into hard house, and back againto trance then onto tekno, then a drop of acid  this is a personal thing to me maybe, i like to hear mixes that take me on a journey.
lab 4 !!!!! their tunes dont mix well with other peoples tunes, must be cut at a different depth or some shit, when mixed the atmosphere just seems to drop.
i am by noway dising this cd, but personally i feel you could do a lot better. This is an ok cd, its nothing special, maybe i am being a tad hard, but i did execpt this to be a class cd, and i am giving an honest option, as i know you guys will respect me for it.
I really did like to hear all the different styles, just think you could have done better.

    sorry guys

safe guys , appreciate the honest feedback !

in no way an excuse at all , but 1 of tiggs decks is ****ed , motor went week odd ago , and started going in reverse , he fixed by ramming a screw driver into it , works ok , but not its best !

agree , its not his best mixing as we were worried about sounding like a couple of twats , so no tricks were used and yes they are left in a bit long , agree also !

so edk mate , totally appreciate your honesty , as it drives me to organise a better deal next time for ya ! ;)

as a demo we tried a different approach of a blend of a few styles , old and new , simply to show , what we have , and what we can try and make work !

we have a new mixer , new headphones , saving now for the new decks !

apologise also for lack of our production on the demo , but usual shit of full time job hours , and pressure to get something out , had to get something of some nature out , as its been on the books so long !

    but

we have discussed another demo in about 2 months , new tunes , our tunes , on new decks , new fx , new tricks !

so , we would love to still have your support for this one !

thanks to everyone who has helped and supported us over the last year odd , couldnt of done what we have done so far without ya ,

    massive respects & appreciation

    wez & dar

first things first, nice artwork guys.

nice intro & outro. (good to see you put your own stamp on the mix)

mixing was reasonably good throughout, and on several occasions the records were cut up nicley whilst in the mix. on occasions you chose to bring in the next track a little late, which resulted in a lack of energy/power whilst actually in the mix.

it was nice to see you play a diverse collection of styles & moods, but on the programming side of things i was left dissapointed, i found it hard to understand why u decided to play those records in that particular order, i think you could have turned the tracklisting the other way round and it would have sounded much better, not perfect but better. the records u began with possessed lots of character and energy, real peaktime material, and the programming was going fine up until just before the mid section of the mix, thats when it went downhill for me. in my opinion the mix became dull, most of the tracks in the latter section of the mix lacked any sort of energy, stimulation, or direction.

i think if you start with the peaktime material at the begining, you basically have your work cut out for yourself, if you are to pull it off, you either have to remain on the same level, subtley upping the gears on every new track to the end, or work really hard on the programming side of things to get somewhere else.

i hope i dont come across too harsh guys, you know i have a lot of respect for you, and i really admire your production work. i hope u appreaciate my honesty, i was just left dissapointed by this, basically because i know your capable of much better. ;)
