When we try and scan for the Virus C thro SoundDiver we recieve an error message, as follows:
"No new devices found! Please check midi cables and devices!"
We have checked all the midi cables and everything seems to be fine.
Does anybody know why SoundDiver is not seeing the Virus C?
If anybody can give any advice it would be appreciated.

you need both the outs and ins connected to and from the virus

ensure that you have the midi cable connected correctly. Midi In goes in Midi Out, Midi Out goes in Midi In. not midi in, midi in, midi out, midi out.

It wasn't actually anything to do with the cables they were ok all the time.
We ended up uninstalling SoundDiver then reinstalling it, works fine now.
Damn PC's !

this program seems to be very tempremental, ive had troubles with it too that didnt sort themselves out till my next formating
