Blurb
Another year ends, and to end 2009 we have something special.
After hunting deserts and jungles, using the the most powerful techniques of persuasion and suggestion, we have finally got Label partner Villain to release some more music.
After his track on the first ever Singularity release was a massive hit, we've been busting his ass to do more.
So for this release Villain supplied us with 2 twisted hybrid techno releases that are right on the button with the Singularity ethos of pushing the sound forward.
Zeroed is a track that crosses the line between dubstep and techno, dark, menacing, powerful, atmospheric and well, just HUGE.
22 inch Rims is a different beast and again crossing the line between various genres, we have deep crunchy bass and beats, layed back dark organs and pads all adding up to a very sinister urban electronic track.
Voidloss provides us with 3 tracks for this release. The first being a straight minimal workout with speaker destroying low low subs that, after the break, gets a whole lot more aggressive for surprising, energetic second half.
Noctulius is a heavy, dark electro-techno beast that gets nastier and nastier.
The final track, Disintegrate Ego, is much more stripped back, austere, dark still, but funky and a very deep space quality.
A nicely varied, boundary pushing EP to end the year with!
