    Default Drumcode

I'm in the studio listening to load of old drumcodes and stuff from that era
putting them into the computer for use with Traktor

OH MY GOD! there are some corkers there !

    Lenk 142
    remainings 3 dk mix
    Compressed drumcode 2 beyer
    Blackcodes 02 ( beyer I think ) t.p.
District 1 the ventriloquist AUK Records
    Audio 11 a ( liebing )
Potential 1a1 ( not sure it's a white but it's one sided and it's got a vocal saying " check this out" )
District 1 Blood Pressure Auk records
sound identification ( chris liebing mix )

I used to cane the hell out of these tunes
I think I'm going to do it again !
    love your mum

yep, we have the entire discog here. The first 30 minutes of the latest good times mix is all drumcode. Ridiculously good record label.

Lenk 142 was ace, both sides were amazing.

If you're going to play the remainings 3 mix in traktor its worth listening to the remastered re-release, which sounds amazing...

My favorite ones are n°1, 2, 3, 5 and 6, lenk 142 is very good as well, Joell Mull remixes of the first track on dc 26.5 are nice as well! ;)

Am pretty sure I've mentioned them here before in a "Where are they now?" thread!
Same with Spira, where did they go?

A lot of the early Drumcode stuff by Beyer was great loop techno, still comes in handy; still very hard to top no.4 by Lekebusch though:

yeah spira.. actually sadly sold a few of my old spiras recently .. Used to love em back them cos they were so balls out honest banging gear.. Looking back now they were pretty rigid and not too much variety amongst the catalogue.. hence i kept a couple of my favourites and got rid of the rest.. ~Nothing beat that kick hat kick hat kick hat spira blatentness :)
For some reason i thought Mark Seven was something to do with spira but looking at discogs theres no evidence for that whatsoever..
I guess they just moved on..
Can't find much of them on youtube .. but here's one:

Gaetek stuff on Primate is good also.

Unfortunately, I think Drumcode, Primate, Tortured, etc. went into a bit of releasing the same sounding stuff and not really deviating in style. Still some corking tracks tho'

    Hey Henry,

I haven't been on this forum in around 4 years I think...?!

Brad from Sydney, Australia here.... you used my 909 one party that I warmed up for you ;)

Anyway, just thought I would post as I too used to hammer all those records above and have been dropping a few older bombs in my sets lately... the younger crowds seem like they missed them the first time 'round and go completely mental - I like this outcome, heh.

I used to buy Drumcode stuff consistently.

Lost and damaged a fair few of them that were sorely loved.

It still sounds as amazing now as it did then.
