    Default 1210 mk5g varispeed

I had a go on my mates 1210 mk5g decks last night. he was telling me about all the improvments there was. The one thing that i did notice was the varispeed seemed to not be as responsive, ie when i slowed the track down it took a while for the platter to stablise at the correct speed. I am mainly used to mk2 but have mixed on most of the other decks with no problems, but i had to think about beatmatching lastnight.

is this normal for the mk5g's?
