sure, honestly i never played a fantasy game until i played last seasons game on that same website.

just put your email in, create some mildly humorous/obscure handle and then you get £100 million to choose a team of players. And thats where the fun begins.

It's straightforward, i would advise read all the rules as thoroughly as you can.

Choose the best players you can out of that £100 million.

The players who are of high value are that because in previous seasons they have accumaated alot of points (from scoring, playing matches keeping clean sheets and so on).

So it's good to have a few high profile players. Also you need players who are steady performers and aren't injured all the time.

So in your team your going to need a decent goalkeeper, a cheaper replacement goalkeeper.

5 defenders, you can buy cheap defenders from teams like Birmingham for example or Stoke City or Everton who don't really let many goals in.

Tottenham for example were good defensively last year and Aston Villa.

A really solid midfielder is important for example Lampard also plays well.

Also a top striker like Drogba is essential. You make your best player the captain, and get double points.

However if you tab on a player you will ge their history from previous seasons.
Dont worry about making mistakes with your initial team selection because you can swap and change the players around as much as you like before the first game of the season in August.

Anyway your bound to make some mistakes and learn from them pretty quickly and it's a long season, so you can turn things around prety quickly.

It's pretty self-explanatory once you get into it, and you'll find yourself knowing far too much about all the players in the premier league.

There is some guidance and tips about players to choose.

When is the deadline? I'm busy as hell the next week or so. I can probably find time to do it during that period, but a cutoff date would be good motivation not to miss it.

After reading the rules I think I understand. My only question is, can we have overlapping players? In my (american) fantasy football leagues, we draft specific players and no other team is allowed to use them. Here can we all use the same players as long as we keep the roster under $100 million?
