    Default Swiss Rave [old mixtapes]

    "This is probably one of the most exciting parts of the Swiss rave history. The Tarot rave organization was one of the two big rave organizations in Switzerland (beneath Inka Imperio) in the 90ies, started off by Mas Ricardo in 1992 in Zürich with the marvellous club Oxa in Oerlikon ZH, it was an incredible success, soon they opened a second club "Grodoonia" in Rümlang CH and a third one "Sensor" near the Oxa in Oerlikon.

    The mixtapes have first been made to promote the organization then later on they became an important part of Tarot experience at all. The mixes have been recorded live at the Tarot clubs and then later on they could be bought at the club - this was an incredible idea, since this gave the possibility to enjoy a crazy night at the club and then in the morning when leaving after the "After Hour"-Party you could buy the sound of the night and this way you had an incredible souvenir of the event.

    These mixtapes helped the main Tarot resident DJs, Mas Ricardo, Noise, Dream, Kayjee, Jumpin' Jack, Culturevibe, to get well known artists all over Switzerland and some even over the borders.

    Nowadays these releases are ultra hard to find, and a lot have been thrown away by people who decided to swap party live for family live after years. Nevertheless every single cassette of the early years is simply a gem and a great add to any collection!!!"

    just on me 4th mix b2b here mate and they class, listened to one off each dj there...tune selection wicked gd mixing all through...lots of known tunes and a fair few unknowns...but no atooms yet haha

    thats my entertainment for tonite sorted...

    still on these here and cant even ff thru then cos they all decent

    interesting to see that mosta the dj's here all steered clear of the big and fast tunes...like almost no bonzai/edm/mmtt etc at all here...all harthouse acidy typa gear...well impressed

    yeah tbh i don't think i have ever heard an Atoom in the mix (apart from me and my mates ****in around with mine) :D

    still tryin to get my hands on inverted humanism and age of heret x tho lol

    nah, was all excited at the 95 mixes there but no bonzai/edms etc either...gd sets tho...

    BTW where did u come across the labyrinth then mate? im gonna probably have to get me own copies pressed off mp3

    so ****in rare, i havent ever seen any of them for sale ever
