Hardstyle vs Techno

I've never liked techno, just my taste - not saying it's good or bad but personally I just can't get into it. I find it dull, hard to dance to and hard to listen to, and thats not without giving it a go on many occasions due to so many underground music heads recommending it.

Same hear m8 Im not to fond of it either i just find it boring..... Mite give it another chance though coz as you say so many ppl love it.

Why give it another chance if it bores u mate?

I'm guessing it's because (like me) he values you lot's opinion. It feels like you can't see one of those magic eye pictures - everyone else raves about techno and says it's harder than anything, had loads of different levels, is the best to dance to etc - but I just can't see it, and i've sure tried.

Yeah but to value other peeps opinions or play tunes u dont like or bore u "coz as you say many ppl love it" was just a strange thing to say imo...

Not a go or anythin... but why try and like something if ur hearts not in it just because others like it?

Because as voorheez says it feels like im missin out on somethin. Its like how I first got into hard trance.. My mates liked it but I thought it was gash until I was bombarded with it for awhile and I grew to love it! The same could happen with techno..... Oh, and I wouldnt play tunes I didnt like whats the point inthat?

But whats the point tryin to get into something that bores u? Or other peeps like?
