Interesting, but there are some errors in there. The first synthesizer was invented by Thadeus Cahill and unveiled for the first time in 1902. He called it the Telharmonium and it was a bit of a beast - it weighed something like 200 tons, and as amplification had not yet been invented, it was played over the telephone network, with phone recievers that had megaphones fitted to them as speakers.
