not bad, some it could be a bit more subtle and tighter.
you've mixed a billion times better than this in my living room.
i cant stop the eschaton
Thats with vinyl tho. Software mixing is hard. There still arent any good beat matching/warping programmes. And I dont do subtlety as you well know.
Thanks.
To be fair, this is all software, no usb gadgets so Im always gonna struggle doing mixes of my own stuff. When you're working with vinyl you have pretty consistant levels all the way through. My tunes are all over the place cos sometimes the emphasis is on the riff or the synth and not the kick.
This is pretty much the best I can do with what Ive got for the moment. Im investing in an mp3 console soon. Should be able to rock it then.
get tractor scratch and mix like a dj but with your mp3z
NATIVE INSTRUMENTS : HOME | HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE FOR MUSICIANS, PRODUCERS, DJS, GUITAR AND BASS PLAYERS
good price at the mo
Native Instruments Traktor Scratch Duo (18491): Amazon.co.uk: Musical Instruments
best of both worlds, digital mixing on your 1210 and mixer
I've found both Traktor and Virtual DJ to be absolutely dreadful at beatmatching even with a low latency. Its gonna need hardware.
