difference between UC-33 and a BABY HUI

hey guys,


im just curious as to what the difference is between say something like an Evolution UC-33 midi controller and a digital mixer like a Mackie Baby HUI or Mackie Control Universal. Advantages and Disadvantages to both?

Reason why im asking is because i need some sort of controller, but i dont really want to dish out all that money if the advantages of getting a control universal dont outweight the costs!

It will be used to control reason and cubase.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
