    Default recording software?

    hi guys just wondering what software u use for converting tapes on onto your pc... i'm trying to use audacity, but everytime i record sumthin its sounds to load & crap..... wat am i doing wrong..............

    I just use windows media, but change the rip settings to rip to mp3 at maximum bit rate
    Ure not mad enough, u don\'t belong in this house

    Might need to check ur line-in levels in your sound properties.

    I use wavelab. You can then process the file to make it a bit louder and cleaner.

    cool thanks lads just need sumthin for compressing the mp3s now just done 40min recording & it over 300 meg wow

    Make sure it is an mp3 file and not a wav.yous winrar to compress it to a zip file if needed.
