I tried it, just remember its only good in the combination with your ears as well. Some mates to me used this one and kinda started to ignore their own ears, its a scary effective toy haha
Yeah it`s very good for tricky mixes that you can`t get the artist to re-mixdown.
Ignor the automatic functions, and I only use it on the highest detail setting, and as Matty says, use your ears, the visual side of things is good to help you move what you are hearing, but the other way round can end up over flattening or downright killing your mix.
It works well if you understand sympathetic EQ but can end up being more complex than just using a good musical 5-7 band on the master, and you can end up overdoing it if you get carried away with the visual aspect too much.
As part of the mastering arsenal it is fantastic for the price, BUT you need to know what you are doing, if you go down the automated route you may as well just use presets on T Racks.
