Sequence is coming. It's going throughout your imagination. It takes you where you've been before. A higher state of mind. Yeah, you remember the early times. Now were trying to take you again. In the deepest seas of your consciousness.....Time never stops

So wot do u think of d over all sound quality?Coz masterin is somethin iv had real trouble with and i think iv cracked it now but its not realy for me t say is it thats why i posted it t get other peoples opinion.
im the same mate mastering is something i still have to er, master. lol
but sounded great to me,
nothing sounded out of place or not balanced right,
well done id say.
ask EMU. he can master a good track.
i quite like this mate.
theres a bit of level clipping at the beggining from that filter, not sure if thats just appeared from the mp3 conversion or its present in the main track but id go back and get rid ofit if your after a good quality pre master.
it sounds as if all your main percussion is going on near the center and its not very defined, id bring that out wider, perhaps pan instruments a bit more heavily left and right and boost there key freqs a little more.
The synth leads in this are quite weak aswell id say youve got fair bit of mid and lower mid to fill out so id bring out the mid in the synths to give them a bit more pressence and perhaps beef up the patches with a little unison or another layer.
it sounds to me like youve got your track how you want it all you need to do now is fill out the sound, fill out the gaps in the frequencies and the space in the stereo image.
depending on what your using for reference, pc speakers,hi fi speakers, monitors will seriously effect your final outcome though, what is your current set up mate?

Iv got a pair of Event 20/20 monitors powerd by a Marantz PM 60100SE K.I Signiture Amp pure direct source bt this track was masterd on a pair of BW 602s powered by a Sony amp from thier Q.S range its not worth me tellin u the modle number bt trust me its a good amp the dude in the shop recons its as good as the Marantzand n he sold me both of em so hes no reason to lie he also reacons the BW speakrs are good enough for monitorin n once again in pure direct sound.
All the perc is still runin in midi through Kontact.
when you say mastering what are you doing to the final .wav?
id do it all on the events and get a good quality pre master then leave it at that if i was you
its lacking definition at the moment and certain elements are'nt coming through as well as they should be, just my opinion though but thats how is sounds to me, id go back to the sequence and reset the eq's then take a listen to some similar released material and get an idea how each section has been placed and how prominent certain things are then take that information back to your track.
Its good to switch back and too to allready released material during a mixdown and compair.
id definetly say your percission could do with more power as the hi hat is hiding behind everything and its hard to make out the clap also
i dont know what your using to master your tracks but running them through a good analyser would help a lot to see where your track is lacking in frequency too.
