113 Audio Breakbeat Pack
"So way back in the 20th century, from about 1995 till around 1999 I ran a website called "113audio.com" (Click here to see what it looked like before it closed down ) dedicated to breakbeats (drum and bass and hip-hop). I had tons of streaming shit, and collected lots of beats.
Well over half the beats in this pack were sampled by me from original vinyl. You can tell because they sound fantastic, they're at the original speed, and they're already perfiectly looped up for you.
Others were contributed by users.
As the website was shutting down, I handed out sample CDs with looped audio and the wav files as data. I can verify that some of these beats were used on commercial D&B tracks in the late 90's (i.e. Metalheadz, etc).

a blast from the past
wow can't believe i stumbled upon your archive of beats from the site. I used to try and download them using a 56k modem back then and only got some. thank you for putting them up here.
just a wee query tho any chance you could get your hands on or point me in the right direction to an archive of samples from your sister site the bass emporium. i did have them on an old machine that went belly up and the site is long gone.
no bother if you can't and thanks again for the archive from 113audio : )
