Default Split mp3 tracks into component parts

Been messing around with this tool, and is a good laugh :)

    www.hitnmix.com

If you can look past the kiddie interface, the software can analyse an mp3 track and split it into component parts, which you can then edit individually. I was just mucking round with tracks like Mr Oizo - Flat beat and Dan Bell - Bleep, cos they were likely to seperate out well, but they really do! In the free demo version ("Play") on their website, all you can do is move the notes up and down pitch, but in the full version you can move their positions in the track, copy & paste them, delete parts etc etc.

Nice. Thanks for the heads up. I look forward to giving it a shot. Any idea how it does at pulling out vocals?

Not a clue yet mate as I've not had a chance to play with it. I'm guessing it uses similar technology to Melodyne in which case it should be quite good.
