gone are the days where a team like galatasaray would end up in semis, crushing barcelona and man u.

no more dynamo kiev and steau bucharest putting a living fear on monster teams in the competition.

facing it, there is no competition in the champion league competition anymore.

gone are the days of underdogs sneaking past the giants.

now you have four english or spanish teams in the quaterfinal(interchangeable), some italian teams and maybe a german team or two.

the small teams can no longer fight with teams with 300-400 million budgets.

like most things these days football has lost its competitive edge and became saturated with capitalist commercialism ie strictly business.

i want the old champions league back mates.

too many games, not enough stories.

where is the soul?
