Thinking about it, Arsenal have the quality, a few shite players aside, we had the quality to win the league and the CL, but the CC final sums Arsenal up - Birmingham got relegated and we had the quality to see off Barca and win the league etc, but it doesn't matter how good this current team becomes, they'll always manage to throw away good positions once the pressure's on.

So in that respect, we don't really need multiple world class players, we just need some ****ing leadership and professionalism. If we had the mental strength of United, and maybe some of their physical strength we'd be almost unstoppable, like in the days of the Invincibles, only able to do it for more than one season.

Also, we've got several young players who might be what we need, such as Bartley in defence, Frimpong as a holding midfielder (this was supposed to be his season, a la Wilshere, but he missed it through injury), JET up front and Miyaichi on the wing, which is all the positions we need to strengthen... Though we need to bring in some leadership and experience more thaan anything.

Ideally we should be signing both a Tony Adams type AND a Roy Keane type, to be captain and vice captain, plus someone who can do a job when van Persie's not fully fit, that's all we need, though Hazard on top would be nice perhaps.
