Default weird phase problem with a+h

I seem to have a strainge phasing effect coming from my a+h xone 92 mixer. I notice the problem when I lower all channel faders so there is no sound coming from the mix 1 output, The sound is almost like a "phaseback loop", nothing that I do on the mixer stops it ie. play with the lfos and filters, raise and lower the channel faders, crossfader movements - If I turn off the mixer or the speakers, then it stops. Has any one else had this problem ? does the mixer go back to the shop ? I have just got new venom leads (xlr to xlr) going from mix a output on the mixer into tannoy reveal active moniters. HELP please

the 2 decks are earthed to the mixer. but its a different noise than that, its not a crackly noise its more of a smooth slow phasing, its not at all unpleasent, its inoffensive but it shouldnt be there.

Sounds like a really common phasing problem. Probably the use of your xlr leads, beacuse it is balanced. Is your in on your tanoys actually a balanced line?

would it make a difference if they are not balanced ? I know the xlr's on the mixer are and so are the leads.

Its could do, it the inversion which causes the problems. Could be a number of things. Check for phasing problems on the net mate, there is a lot of resorces about.
