    Default Sidechain in Cubase SX ....

    ....is it possible??? I want to use a kick drum sidechained to a hi hat channel and bass channel to compress them...

    as far as i know it's only possible using the compressor and sidechainer that comes with the TC Native Bundle..

    I mean checking older posts will help you.
    I've got the same question but I'm not sure if there is any exact answer how to do that, but certainly you'll find some good tips how to emulate this or how to deal with it...

    mika preaty much answered it! Not possible exept if U have the plug ins with that dedicated function, mind u I can't say 100% sure 'cause I haven't tryed it

    There is a sort of crazy work a round... Do a volume automation on the Bass Audio track so that it dips a little (as much as u want the pumping effect) each time there is a kick... Bounce that u a new Audio File.. keep the original for the breaks... Hope this helps! ;)
