how would you go about getting your new track to be released onto a label?
would you send off demos or just contact your local reocrds shop or what??
i know theres a few people who have released stuff off here so how do i do it?

For our releases we just gave demo CD's with about 7 or 8 tracks to labels and dj's.... its hard at first because sometimes noone actually listens to the tracks, but just keep sendin em and youll eventually get some feedback.
Also sometimes i email a few labels some links to mp3's... thats the quick and easy way to do it, but a demo is better at first i reckon.

You gota make it stand out...i dont mean spend half your life time designing a cover...just make it stand out so they take notice...and keep the tracks short...they wont have time to listen to your 15mins long master piece. Try shorting the intro, or coming straight in witht he chorus to make them listen to the whole thing.
