    Default The sound comp thingy.

I think it would be intersting to see what would happen if i posted a sample of something up, and then someone adds effects or whatever and changes it, and then someone else messes with that one, and so on. And then see what sound we come out with at the end. If you think its a good idea, then i will find the crappest sample on my hard drive for everyone to mess with.

humm it's a good idea but I guees it would work more if u had some sort of context... I mean just for the sake of "sintesing" a sample with various means can b preaty wide the results, almost infinite dare I say! :hmm:

Distort.. but 2 have a powerfull means balancing all the rest of the stuff... a simple kick can sound devastating with not much mangling... not saying I can do it properly though!

    Right, here's a pretty shit kick for ya's -

    http://www.clubfaction.net/audio/909_1.WAV

Lets see who can do the best version!

Some rules have to be aplied tho -

    1. No cheating - use this sample
    2. No layering - One sample playing only

    Happy mangling ;)

Just one kick drum. Thats all. You can loop it in a straight 4/4 if you want, but with nothing else ;)
