    Default elements of trance

    i think im gonna make a few hard trance tracks again. What are the main elements that people look for in a hard trance track?

    It all depends really. Some people look for a good uplifting riff, others look for dark driving hard dirty noise.

    You cant go wrong with a punchy kick, big reversed bassline and loads of acid though

    in an uplifter, a nice few synths moving from speaker 2 speaker, complicated hi hat, clap and snare patterns and a nice uplifting bassline ussually sorts me out!!!

    i think a bass line can be uplifting, or at least add o the uplift from the riff, s.h.o.k.k s basslines pulsated through the track, alsmot sounding like they were swelling up, very organic kindof sound but very gritty at the same time.

    i used to love this style of bass, it sounded amazing when blasted on a good sub
