You post a track, and then coplain that you have no feedback after 26 hours!! ****in hell mate, give ppl a chance! Leave it a week, and then come back and ask for some feedback if you have had a lot of veiws! Most people on here are very busy, but will usually get back to ya, and you will get an honest and constructive reply! So just be patient mate! I shall check them out when i get chance to listen and give decent feedback.

Had a listen to your tracks mate, the ideas are there but obviuosly your new to the production scene and your tracks lack that professional sound.

I think your tracks need quite a bit of compression and a lot of EQ'ing.

Also maybe d/l yourself some nice fat synths and samples.

    Also what program you running?

    listened to the song classic

the beginning is way to monotone and repetive.
And ther edoes'nt seem to be any reverb anywhere making everything too dry .

The progression is too slow . Try to add something different every 8 bars or else it gets really boring .

The melody is pretty dissonant sounding. I don't understand what the melody is ttrying to do.

Once the second synth comes in , its really bad. I think you need to work on chord structures and harmonies because those harmonies where ear shattering.

    hope this helps

    Listened to Classik

Agree with most of what Richie said above I wouldnt go as far as to say its "ear shattering" lol.
Deffinatley need reverb on alot of the sounds in it, and condense the begining down aswell. That second synth does sound slightly out of tune when it changes, try moving the bass up and down aswell when youve got it right.

It all sounds pretty empty at the moment and alot of stuff does need EQing but I did quite enjoy it. Sort of sounding like 99 style Htrance Mark used to play. I think if you keep at it, in about 12 months you'll be making some storming tracks.

    Right,

Ive had a listen to classic, and you are obviusly new to producing, which is a good thing. So im gonna try and point you in the right direction.

    The creative side...

Basically, as the others have said, the structure is too bland. You need to add more layers and elements in the mix. Dont just copy and paste your way though the track, work at it, see what fits with what, and try to get as much in there as posible, without making the mix seam too busy or confusing. There are lots of ways to get round the problem of putting to much in a track, but i dont think it would benefit you at this moment to confuse you with a lot of gobbledy gook .

    Onto the production side.....

Ive heard worse to be honest. Hey, at least it isnt a distorted mess! But again, the way you have produced it has made that track even blander  In a track, there are certain elements that need to cut through the mix, lets say the lead line on your track for instance. Especially in trance, the lead synth is the main groove of the track, and you need to make this stand out from the rest of the mix. You can do this in a number of ways, but i think you should consentrate on EQ'ing them so the right frequencies are cutting through. Try adding some stereo enhancement, or even some effects like flange or phase. This will bring a wamth to the synth, and will also make it a lot more interesting to listen to.

    Reverb........

Were the hell is it ;) Reverb plays a major part in any track! It brings warmth, atmosphere, clarity and distance to your music. Learn to use reverb to its full effect, and you will be well on your way! A good tip for creating the hard trance sound at the minute is to put some reverb on the kick drum, and then predelay it so it comes in half beat ;)

    Compression....

Corbsy touched on this before, but i think for you, it isnt something you want to dive into yet! Read up about it, as this is one of the fundamentals in getting that professional sound.

    Read, read, read...

The more you know, the better in this game mate! Read as much as you can on all aspects of music production, and i dont mean just dance music. The hardest part of producing nowerdays is being different from other ppl, and if you find some obscure technique on the net, or in a book, then your more likely to get a different sounding track!

    I hope this helps mate,

    Keep at it!

Defo a newbie to the production world , but dont take that the wrong way.

You have the ideas , just not the knowledge of actual structure etc,,

Use of sounds n instruments seemed bland , never much going on , need to work on the ear candy not just the rythmn , a lot of your energy was was focused on hats n beats etc , which defo need EQ !

Track length also , way to long doinbg the same thing for 3 mninutes , no real ups n downs , catchy vocals , massive builds etc,,

Classik etc,, could be a 4 min track really if layed out properly !

Again you have the ideas , just do some some research into structures , timing and EQ , yoube on yer way then !

    Be Cool

Nice one everyone for your feedback, i wouldnt go as far as "ear shattering" Richi v, but i can see that there is alot more i have to learn. Those tracks up on acid were the first mixdowns that i had done. Since then i have added more synths and compressed alot of my tune.
Doesnt look like this tune has much pottential by the sounds of it, might start from scratch, Keeping some of the the pointers IQ and corbzy tuched on. Nice one, Keep you informed on how my next ones goin.
