I think United will go through, they always do well @ home in european games, and Ruud is back in the goals. I think 3-1 United.

Given that the United defence is playing so poor and the thought of Giggs at left back, I see a Porto win and Man Utd out...

F**kin disgrace, i could go on all day about Sir Alex's team selection, but at the end of the day, the officials have cost us...

In real life, if you don't do your job right you get sacked, it's about time these officials should be made to pay for their incompetance...

Thing is the officials have to make judgement made on a event that passes in barely a second. Of course error's will be made, that's part and parcel of football. You win some, you loose some... and trust me Man Utd have had there fair share of ref decisions over the years.

However yes I would love to see officials accuracy in decision making improved. Technology has to be used in my mind. Why not small electronic tages on all the players boots and in the ball and around the pitch? Then you can tell electronically if it was off-side and when it goes out or over the goal line.
