sam played a good set well impressed mate. that live p.a was it just me but there was no one behind the decks at all through it :!:
remember steve bicknell being good but can't remember a single tune he played.
Robert Hood. Was certainly different to what i expected i thought he would be banging it out hard as **** like at the orbit but a very detroit influenced start. He started building it up but left before he fully got into it so someone can let me know what the last bit of his set was like.

The live sets are played in the old DJ booth overlooking the crowd so that's why you couldn't see anything. ;)
I've been reliable informed that Hood did his usual hardness for the last hour of his set and kept the busy dancefloor till the end of his set.

some tit was running round the club last night telling all and sundry that hood wasn't playing. if i find him he'll be barred for life. we really don't need that kind of bullshit spoiling people's nights. i had about 40 people come up to me very very unhappy thinking they'd been ripped off all because of some clueless fkwit. in future, before spreading rumours like that around a packed club why not check with the fking promoters first you prize c*nt.

if anyone knows him please pass on my comments.

Tubejerk was wicked. Bicknall was ok. Hood was worth it just for stopping one record mid tune at about 130bpm and kicking straight back in with another at about 160... Definately a set of two halves..

Heard the rumours about the Hood no show as well, so word spread fast...

Nice to see the bouncers got rid of all the jokers from the front of the booth as well...

It certainly is a quality set up. The monitors are crystal clear and makes the experience alot more enjoyable.
