NI Intakt is one of choices. You can import WAV, AIFF, REX1 and REX2 files, AKAI™ S-1000/S-3000, EXS™, BATTERY, LM4™ and KONTAKT instruments.

Problem with rex is that until recently, properheads were not licensing out the rex technology. So the only players out at the moment are samplers where you can import the rex but the actual rex manulipulation tools are limited. However… now that they opened the doors and are licensing the format, I think there will be better rex players like the one found in Reason in VST format very soon. .

My current setup has reason running rex's through rewire into SX as standard practice.

Damm.. does Phatmatik use rex files? I specicially passed that program over because on their web sit they only say it uses wavs and acid waves.

Oh I see.. Since 1.2 they implemented REX.. Probably coincided with the format coming available to third parties. Awesome!!.. Then Phatmatik Pro is defiantly the answer to this question!!!
