    Default Holy Ghost

    Whatever happened to them/him?
I've got their album Live in Amsterdam on Tresor and it's rocking. I haven't seen any productions from the Ghost lately.

Yeah, that Live in Amsterdam record was pretty nice, as well as the Gone Fishin' on Tresor. After that, though, the records they (pretty sure it's two guys) put out became less and less my thing and i sort of lost track of them...

The Art Lukem Suite is a great album. It's a real shame they've disappeared.

I've seen them a couple of times In Brum a few years back & they were awesome live. Atomic Jam 3rd birthday I think it was when they put on a full on stage show. Anyone else remember?

I was there - it was rockin! That guy all dressed up, with the IV drip in his arm, staggering around the stage and all - warped, and the way they started with The Hand Of God at about 150bpm or something - I just about crapped my pants. They played the one with Joey Beltram as well, Oct. 97 I think - that was another warped stage show.

I've got The Mind Control of Candy Jones, The Art Lukm Suite, and Gone Fishin, and love all of them, I've always thought it was great the way they try to take techno and turn it into this conceptual storytelling sort of thing, while still keeping it interesting for the dancefloor.

Yeah! That's what I'm talking about. I'm sure I remember there being some darkass dentist chair involved at some point as well with one of the guys strapped in it. Genius. Totally unexpected.

I was at the Beltram night as well but don't think the show was quite on a par with the birthday.

The Hand of God...what a tune! On a big system it totally rocks

yeah, I do recall some sort of chair and there were some ****ed up nurses lurking around with big hypodermics and things as well if my hazy memory serves me well. And yes, the show on the third bday was definately the best, although I do remember some sort of stuff going on the other time as well - or maybe I was just wasted, who knows! They rock at any rate, I'd love to see them again.

Who - us who like them, or Holy Ghost themselves? Any particular reason for this statement?

Bring them back, saw them do the live thing at Sid Fox twice. It really was something else. I can remember the hospial drip attached to the frontman's arm saying 'evil spirits'. They started of with Twister, everything seemed live and they had a huge god knows how many channel mixer and a rackmount full if kit. The front man had some really strange tinted porno shades, he was staring people out in the croud and shit. Really created a weird atmosphere, ****in loved it :wicked: . I would like to see them again too but to be honest I think is over, not herd anything from them in ages now. I would like to know why
