    what do you think will happen to him i reckon he will get a lesser ban i think they will ban him for 4 months

    Despite the fact that their original punishent was far too harsh, i reckon the FA will not want to seem soft, and probably won't reduce the ban...

    Plus, if they do reduce the ban, then that would leave Rio free to play for England in the European Championships, FIFA will have somin to say about that no doubt...

    aye numeric is right, they wont want to see m soft, I think the punishment was far too harsh anyway, they just wanted to make an example of him.

    They were right to make an example of him, it will make other players sit up and take notice that they cant just take the piss and do what they want.

    If it would of been me, id of given him the full possible ban, he wouldnt miss another test then

    lmao :lol: he is talented, but not as talented as some think ;) I never used to think he was worth the money united payed for him, but after their recent games it shows he is one of their key players.

    I think it was a harsh sentence.....seeing as he wasn't proved to have done drugs....just didn't turn up for a test.....but rules is rules

    thats it japp stam and all that lot that got lesser bans took the drug test on time but rio didnt and if it was athletics he would have been banned for at least 2 years .

    i did think they would give him a lesser ban tho but like you said rules is rules
