techno....no sound like this sound.....still a incomprehensible magical force the precision of the rhythms the repetition of the machine groove the basic tribalism of the beat.......there is no sound like this sound!
I actually spoke to Mick a few weeks ago, and I asked why they never do back to backs anymore and that was one of the reasons why. Us ungrateful buggers were always cheering for Mark EG whilst Mick was doing just the same work and putting the same amount of effort into the scene.
I can understand his point, it must feel a bit shite when your doing b2b's and the other person is getting all the credit. Thats not taking anything away from Mark as I think they both deserve the huge amount of respect and recognition that they get now. A lot of people always ask me who I thinks best but to be honest I like them just as equal for different reasons. Neither is better, they are both fu*kin quality for their own reasons.
ACIIIIIIIED!!! Wheres The Acid House Party?
that was always very awkward for me with mick. i loved it when i was playing -- it was such a buzz!!!! - but then mick would go on and people would still do it! i felt like i should hide whilst mick was mixing. i think that's why i didn't enjoy it as much after a while. plus we were just becoming 'mark eg and mzone' and we fell like we were loosing our own identities. looking back, i'm glad it stopped when it did.
and also due to that fact you were rubbish Mark lol.........only jokin you know i love ya![]()

ALWAYS REMEMBER :
THE TOES YOU STEP ON TODAY COULD BE ATTACHED TO THE ASS YOU MAY HAVE TO KISS TOMORROW
That must have been a very akward situation for you Mark. I bet it must have caused a bit of 'tension' at the time. I wonder if it effected Mick's performance aswell. It must have been hard hearing all the chants whlist your trying to concentrate on your mixing.
no, it was wicked to hear the chants!!!!!! very cool.... but hard to understand how it was for mick, that's all....
Micks got his own chant crew goin on now tho hasnt he, chants rok man!!!lol
