Default [MIX] [Hardstyle] - Bacchus - She bangs!

Hey all. It's been a while since i've posted a set online. Today I recorded a little something I thought would be worth sharing. It's Techno and hardstyles of various flavors (from industrial to jump-up).

and it's appropriately named...because she really does bang..

It's a 96kpbs version because of lack of space on my server right now. I hope you still enjoy!

I used to own turntables many moons ago, but sold them before college. I've had this entry level pair for almost a year now.. a year in march. However, my first big hardstyle gig was only this New Years.

It doesn't sound too bad, but I would recommend perhaps leaving your mixes to the end for an easier mix if you're still learning things. Your beats are slipping quite a bit especially when you're bringing them in, and I think it would be better for you to leave it to the end of the track and mix intro into outro because you'll have more time to match it more accurately, and it will be less noticeable when you make small mistakes and need to adjust. It will definitely help you realise when to cut the track out etc, because in hardstyle bassline over bassline rarely works. Get good basic skills in before you try early mixes etc. Practice as much as possible, especially with hardstyle because it is a very unforgiving genre to mix.

I read on the same topic in the hardstyle forum that you have a platter problem? If i'm honest I can hear it quite a bit, slowing down then speeding up. Have you got them perfectly level? That might help a bit.

Overall a good effort though, keep practising, I look forward to hearing more

    thanks for the advice.

Yeah, the platter problem is the entry level turntables i mentioned.

it's just not as solid as the tech's.
