U sure bet it is... I'm waiting 2 get 1 :)
But I wanna find a good deal that will include all the plug ins aswell (especially the sony 1s) :)

yeah, i think thats the studio pack its at $899, from what I saw so far.
i just want to get the basic one, its only $399 ;)

I have one and its the f--kin s--t. Can't imagine it it was nott in my box. Top end compression and eq on par with most high end hardware (in my opinion). Get the optional Fairchild and Chamridge EQ. I use the EQ on 80% of my tracks.

if u use on eq per track , about 3 comp, 1 delay and one verb... how many tracks would u be able 2 use without running out of steam on the UAD1??

Depends.. some plugins are very intense on the usage. Cambridge3 EQ is 4% dsp while fairchild is 16%...Nigel is crazy at 33%.. Dream Verb is 19%.. 1176LN is 14% 1176SE is 5%.....Channel Strip is 9%... All other basic ones are 4-5....etc.
Basically, If you want to run efx on each track without rendering them down you need multiple cards... I always tweak and render and move on...
(You also have to be careful of going tto 100% usage as you computer might freak out (but not necessarily crash)

haha well I don't have the full $900 so I'm just gonna get the basic one, I can buy the fairchild and cambrigde later on anyway. i think they're like $150 a piece.

Aparently Cambridge will also b avaible for powercore soon... anothe FrankFurt news is the V-Staion for powercore!
