    Default Ride Cymbals

If any one uses ride cymbals in their music could they tell me a good resource for them, be it a drum machine or sample cd. I havent used them before because I can never get them sounding good.

Also how do you process them to get that hard edge to them? The sound Im after is the Advent type ride cymbals.

    Thanks

we used the rebirth ride (export as wav) for most of our early stuff.

a nice bit of distrotion and reverb on the desk and you're away!

yeah some nice long reverb i tend to use and a little drive, keep them as low as possible too but without losing the effect.
