Default FRESH GRING 005 - Dean Rodell - Empty Skin

New, raw and hard percussive loops as Dean Rodell does Fresh Grind 005. Nice one!

Lawrie Immersion's new release from the main man at Unknown Forces and Drumworks, init! In my opinion a really phat mix of slamming, deep and funky hard tech!

    I'm going to agree!
There's some seriously threatening stuff coming from Rodell on this
one the bass on Empty Skin is haunting.
Resolve and No mans are good as well but I concur Empty Skin is the standout track on this one for me.

I actually didn't rate this as highly as other stuff from Dean... it's great solid gear but just doesn't excite me a tremendous amount... Should I go have another listen, I didn't pick it up the first time I heard it a week or 2 ago..? Maybe I was in a bad mood ;)

Nice bit of branding on the vinyl too - Fresh Grind certainly got it going on with the pressing!!!!!!

Well my copy has got a Frsh Grind branding on it - and I have not seen that on a record (that works) before ?!!

I've seen a few cigarette marks and blim burns but they render the vinyl useless - check it out or is it just my copy?

I'm not sure about the other releases, but the fresh grind #1 I bought had the branding.. I don't see the point exactly but it's unique  .
