way of promoting the music commercially..

I would think the simpler the beat the more the masses would eat it up.

For commercial success all you need is something which is going to stick in someone's head and this tune has it by way of the lyrics and the beats. IMO There's nothing wrong in having a commercially succesful tune, it doesn't make you any less underground.

BTW, the video is funny as **** and I would love to see it on terrestrial TV. Top of The Pops watch out.
