Electric City. It's on the Techno Event index. From I've heard, it's a pretty good night.

yeah EC is a good nite. On thursday they have marco remus. Then on 22 they have deetron, and on 29th they have legowelt.

There's also a club called Traffic histing the nites of the "D1" label.. For detroit lovers... They will host Laurent Garnier in June.

For more info you have to ask the Dubliners ... =)))

    Here you go mate:-

    April 15th

Marco Remus [Kne' Deep - Berlin]
    Rian Ryan [Electric City]
    Giles Armstrong [electricity]

    Admission - e10 / e9 with flyer

This Thursday April XV we welcome Berlin's numero uno TechnoGladiator
Marco Remus into the Electric City colliseum for a set of uncompromising
techno. This onslaught will be first time Marco has done battle in
Ireland. Armed with a reputation of being one of the fiercest DJ's ever
to come out of Germany, his DJ style is hard jacking Chicago house fused
with tough no-holds-barred techno as already witnessed at some of the
Motherlands most famous clubs like Tresor, U60311 and Dorian Gray. His
DJ sets have also destroyed some of the biggest festivals and events
across Europe such as Time Warp, Nature One, Sonne, Love Parade and
    Awakenings in Holland.

Marco set up his own label 'Nerven Records' in 2000. From the offset Nerven
became very successful and was highly praised in many music magazines and
clubs. It wasn't long before he started to release tracks for other labels
like Kidazz FM, T:Classixx and DJ Rush's Kne' Deep. It was on the Berlin
Kidazz FM label, that his highly popular TechnoGladiator series was issued.
Together with his idol and friend DJ Rush he released a mix compilation
'Berlin meets Chicago' at dj-sets.com, which amazingly sold over 10,000
    copies worldwide.

For more information on Maximus Remus check out www.marcoremus.com

Playing before Marco is Maynooth's very own Man-o-War, Rian Ryan. Rian
rocked the club back in February with a funk driven techno set that had more
tricks than Paul Daniels and David Copperfield put together! Make sure you
get down early to check out one of Ireland's best upcoming DJ's. Giles
McGhee will be warming up for Rian with some tricks of his own such as
how to turn on the decks with one hand behind his back and how to use the
    cross fader while blindfolded!

Tickets are now available from Selectah Records, Temple Bar for Legowelt's
debut Live appearance at Electric City on April 29th priced 9 euro. Also at
Selectah is our brand spanking new T-shirt available in a number of
different colours & sizes. Get one while they are still hot!

    Electric City

This gig is open to membership card holders of the club before anyone else. If you are in Dublin head to D1 some Friday night and get a membership card as soon as you can !

Jeff Mills and Dave Clarke are both playing at the Redbox on Harcourt St. in town, both in May. Clarke is on the 21st for deffo.

Its about €25 on the door. Seen Mills in there a few months back and the s.system and layout really suit Techno. I'll get the date for Mills and post again.

    hmmmmmmmm.....

Power Outages dont suit techno. Nor does huge ticket prices. Or crammed dangerous clubs.

No it's not reasonable at all, it's more than any other club ever charges in Dublin. It's not been so crammed recently as they have been struggling to get the same numbers as they used to in, it is soon to close for renovations though, at which stage it's going to expand into a bigger venue.

Metropolitan is on the Quays, Northside, just off O'Connel St. bridge, the Redbox is at the top of Harcourt St., cannot be missed if you walk up Grafton St and hang a right, and the rest is a mystery to me to!

I think that forest thing Massplanck is talking about is postponed for a little while, the Creation party is on May 15th.. there'll be a phone number to ring on the night with directions etc. PM me close to the time and I'll let you know the story..

ahh ok they were different things.

    Another question:

Is there any decent radio programmes? What frequency for the dublin area.
Cheers for the info everyone , it has made my trip much easier. I am pissed off that I missed Deetron, but I had no money and had to work. Maybe Mark Broom tonight

edit: and can someone tell me where The Belvedere is
