    Another question:

Is there any decent radio programmes? What frequency for the dublin area.
Cheers for the info everyone , it has made my trip much easier. I am pissed off that I missed Deetron, but I had no money and had to work. Maybe Mark Broom tonight

edit: and can someone tell me where The Belvedere is
Techno wise I do a show on Wednesday nights on Nova 94.7 FM, it's on from 11 p.m. - 1 a.m. There's an Irish speaking station called Radio Na Life that have a minimal show from the Full Stop crew on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m., that's followed by "Teicneolas" at 10.30 which is a bit harder. Other than that there's not a whole lot that I can think of. Power FM is off the air at the moment, but Giles' "Punish Techno Show" still goes out on the web Sundays at 11 p.m. on www.powerfm.org, his show is followed by Bren Gregoriy who does a part techno, part eclectic type of show.

Haven't been to the Belvedere yet either but the directions are: Top of O'Connell Street, past the Ambassador staying to the right of it, bypassing Parnell Street until you get to a turn right on the road... the street is called Great Denmark St. (Dublin 1) and The Belvedere is facing a place called Barry's Hotel as far as I know.

thanks to sunil and co for breaking my dublin tech virginity last night.
Gual was good, but maybe he would have been better later on in the night. My nose has been bleeding since I left the fecking place.

Your nose was bleeding? Shit Hope it's better now!
My first time in that venue and it wasn't bad I have to say.. Peter's set would have been better later on alright, second from last or something. I like his tracks, he's been putting a lot of work into them, he has his first record coming out on some Chicago based label soon I think.

I checked their site last week but it didn't look like it had been updated in a while. I hope he got the name right!

Nearly got roped into Spirit, but then wouldn't bother with The Belvedere, eh? Yeah it was cool, nice little intimate spot. Was a hot, sweaty night in there..

It's in The Sugar Club on Leeson Street, just around the corner from Stephen's Green. The gig is from 8 - 11 or so, Liddell is on at 9.45. So to answer the question, it is before Mills and Smith ;) Red Box is about 10-15 minutes walk from The Sugar Club, it's not far at all.
