i was getting really depressed that dancefloor techno just wasn't WEIRD anymore, and then comes this brilliant, brilliant record.

The long play cut is sooo good on that record, kind of a bitch to mix though.

I didn't pick the album up at the shop but I really considered it and think it may grow on me over time. Simply put it will probably be one of those records that I pass on and it will come back to bite me in the ass a couple years from now.

buy the album if you can...i think they still have it at juno if all else fails. with all the distribution troubles crap out there, it's unlikely it will get the recognition it deserves, so i bet it won't ever be repressed. but it's one for the ages...i'll put my cards on the line and say this is the type of techno that will sound just as good 5 years from now, or maybe even 10.

Secret Cinema are always quality, as they do keep it weird..."Revenge of a Nerd" quality as always, but not as much as "White Men can't Funk"

Yep, their stuff on EC Records was great too... The "Pure Tek" EP used to rock it for me... Lent it to a friend, never got it back!

secret cinema always seem to put out really well thought out productions.

Acid Come is one of my favourite techno all timers.

Jeroen Verheij is the man ;) since wayyyyyyy back...

He also did the classic Grooveyard - Watch Me Now... I ordered this once, on EC records in cool blue vinyl, and it got broken in the mail :( Now it's on the wall as a conversation piece :P

got my copy last week, some great techno, really lovin that discowhip track but the more chilled stuff is awesome too. also have that 'pure tek' and 'sc 03' ..really well produced techno that actually goes somewhere instead of just looping over for 5 mins..techno atm needs more of this stuff i think..
