Default REFRESH001- Ignition Technition - Knowledge is Power EP

Think B1 and B2 are blinding! A1 is too hard-arse 'woop woop' for me. Samples at music-head.de

    Lets go, techno!

hmmm, i'm not soo keen on any of them tracks.

they all sounds a little too looped w/o an actual groove to em. maybe thats just down to the bad quality of the sample?

Ignition Technition is for mixing not intro, break, beat match outro, break type playing records! So yes he does do alot of locked grooves and loopy funk! Guess he's gotta match your style of mixing to find him interesting.

;) appologies! Was rather patronising then. And these samples are not representive of the movement and breaks in the track... 30sec vs 6 minutes. Good call that you know your style - and I guess these ain't it. have to say that the best IT stuff is with Laurie Immersion/Pounding Grooves.

my fav are the b side to 'pusher 3' (it massivly samples a funky tune i think)

and 'the darkness' (granted its extreamly unintellegent, but i just love those dark stabs)

Ignition have never bettered the wedafuqawi days imho
this looped/filtered stuff is getting a little bit stale really, but it`s really selling for them so I guess why mess with a successful formula. Shame really cos they used to be hard as nails
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

I dunno Wilko is still whacking it out. Really like "dirty ghetto jam" and "Phat, single and ready to mingle"...

only really like the tune he did vs pounding grooves that is a top tune. To me he only seems to churn out cheezy funked up shit these days. Not my cup of tea at all.

still using that same old loop ... again ... i love the ignition technician but sometimes i do feel that they are just repeating themselves.
