Default making a sound more dynamic..

What plugins do you guys use on a certain sound to make it more dynamic? When I use some kind of audiosample troughout the whole track for example, I find myself always using only waves metaflanger on it's channel to make it more dynamic..
What kinda plugins do you guys use for these things? What are your thoughts about this?

    Cheers!! :)

I find very usefull plugs like PSP Vintage Warmer, Antares Tube, or similar. It's very good for using on any type of sound, makes it more powerful and dynamic. great for using on drums.

try some quite extreme rhythmic filtering subtly mixed in with the original signal, often a good one for me ;)

Don't thinbk this is exacly what u are looking 4.. but I basically use different pannings on thiferent sounds and keep bringing in and out of the mix different sounds, also with different verb amounts!

The filtering really gives me nice results indeed :) I do use different sounds coming in and out to keep it more interesting, but I'm gonna experiment with using different kinds of reverb then..
    Thanks guys! ;)

btw: do you do most of this during track layering or at mixdown?

track building stage... I meant more within the lines of differnt amounts of reverb... if verbs are 2 different might sound a bit strange and clash a bit!

Automation on metaflanger ... yummy ...

    ftp://80.176.210.21/pub/cern.mp3

is an extreme example done with a speak and spell sample a pink noise sample and a metaflanger and some automated panning. Not sure it's what you want but thought I'd share it 'cause I'm so into metaflanger at the moment...it's my new lover.

thanks for clearing that up Z, I misunderstood..
that sounds very cool basil I never tried automating it.. only used the lfo. I'm gonna experimentate with that.. thanks!
I love metaflanger, but I felt kinda limited using only this..
