techno....no sound like this sound.....still a incomprehensible magical force the precision of the rhythms the repetition of the machine groove the basic tribalism of the beat.......there is no sound like this sound!

Yeah it was a decent event like. the main room looked amazing when I first walked in. Brilliant lighting an the Decks up on like a big temple looking thing. The best part had to be the sound system LOAD AS FCK.
Damn cold in there at the start.

The first set of the night was my favorite (DJ Clipper was it?) banging out some hard as fck tracks when I arrived & some excellent old style sounding stuff towards the end.
Mark EG was excellent as always, managed to get everyone really going!

I was badly let down by dj wag though, I thought with him actually being from Germany he would be playing a load of stuff I'd never heard before.
Turned out what he played I'd heard all of them I think.
Seemed as though he was having a hardtime tryin to wake the crowd up so maybe he thought we needed tunes we would know to do it, from Scott Project tracks to Kick & Bass it was quite a boring sounding set for me with no structure (or maybe i just spend to much time on germantrance.com lol)
Was it him that played that flash gordan tune?? wtf it was played on Radio one about 4 oclock in the afternoon when I was on my way down to brummieland.

The hardcore/drum & bass room was looking good till it started an they closed half of it off so it was bloody tiny, I dont understand why people bother putting on a second room if its that small. I hope the DJs didnt have to travel to far to play in it.
Thumpa was sounding good in there though, enjoyed my little stomp with the five other people who managed to squeeze into it

The main room never really got that full which was a shame coz that place would explode if it was to fill up. Respect to the friendly bouncers who saved me from getting a parking ticket as well, they made a change to the w.ankers who work the doors by me.

Dont really rate any of the German Producers as DJs, ye they can all mix tightly enuff but they all play mainly there own tunes, are boring and have no set structure.

Im well in2 that Flash Gordon trak btw......cool as (tho i may get linched here for saying so!lol)

What can i say 8) Nice one..i'm glad you liked my set :D

OOOoooo..the back room...to be honest, i personally preferred it the way it was, cos it brought a nice atmosphere into the room! In the past few NEO's..the room has been fully opened.and although i've pulled a few people in..it still looked empty! With the same amount of people..even more this time..it made it a well nicer room to play in..cos you could actually feel the atmosphere...i could feel the crowd, with bein so close and compact :D

Did you hear my hardcore set..i was on after Thumpa Was a wicked set..so i was told anyway...ha ha 8)

no i didnt hear your hardcore set mate, I only went up twice. the second time drum & bass was gettin played an the room looked quite full then. I'm tryin to convert my bird to the underground so I didnt want to scare the sh#t out of her with to much hardcore (all in good time though eh). I think you should have played when Wag did.

Did you leave the fridge door open when you were djin, iwas freezin my arse off, saw a souple of people with hot chocolate lol :)

With luck...things should be like that, when NEO returns to birmingham :D

I'll try & get more people to come down for the next one. When they've been once they'll be there everytime!
