    I reckon both of the units look pretty cool. If you're just using software then the doepfer should do the job (and i reckon it looks cooler) but if you're controlling hardware as well, the extra programmability of the evolution might be handy.

    I have doepfer drehbank fixed to Yamaha RMX1 and it was quite easy to get those working together. There was sipmle program for PC.

    i have doepher now butt i still dont know how to save presets for good. manual is only in german and mein deutsch ist nich so gut ich kann alles verstanden,ja.

    nothing no manual.
    if someone has a english version please give it to me i ll soon need my controller cause i ll prepare a live PA and reproggraming really makes me nervous.
