Default favourite trance djs at the moment

what are people's thoughts on the best UK trance dj's at the moment. my favourite is definitely Beneye, he rips it up every ****ing time, don't quite know how he does it but the whole club seems to just go nuts when he plays out.
Abyss is quality, perhaps better technically than Beneye.

yeah abyss is a really good dj, his mixin is tight as fuk!
techno....no sound like this sound.....still a incomprehensible magical force the precision of the rhythms the repetition of the machine groove the basic tribalism of the beat.......there is no sound like this sound!

yeah abyss is very good...only heard him a few times and they have been both at the start of a night.

Be good to see him at peak time.

Ive only heard ben eye once before, was ok but everyone seems to rate him so id like to here him a few more times before i pass judgement.
    something for your mind.........

    Default Beneye

Yeah Beneye kicks arse around the South West, not sure why he doesn't get booked more around other parts of the country.

I saw Abyss recently = no comment I was too far gone at that stage to know if i was gonna try and stand or try and do the loop the loop at the front of the cunny....

Beneye - I love his tune selection, very nice, and very to my liking, certainely a dj to look out for, he'd certainely be enough for me to travel upwards of an hour to go out.... technically I thought very good..

Cross & Spinout - there very unique hey? they certainly play there own style, technically Id say amazing, don't think i've heard them drop a beat in 2 yrs, but they don't have the R factor, and id probably travel upwards of an hour to see either one of them
    R = Roar

M-Zone - blow me down, does this man ever leave a track to just play, recently i've been very impressed with him, i think him playing a lot of hardstyle trance has helped, he's a little bit different because before the main breakdown he's already mixed out and onto another track... this man is probably for me the best UK DJ around

are own Mark EG - if I want a party, i know where to go. From the second this man walks on the crowd's going twice as mad,, technically I've seen him have on days where its been above and beyond the likes of Eddie H, and sometimes I've been dancing mad, so mad that I look away from his crazy madness thats so entertaining and i hear a couple of drop beats, but to be honest if your gonna go that mad behind the deck's you'd be doing well to be able to get your hands away from the platter to put on another track....

Kevin Energy - I like his hard trance style a lot, very very very good....

Sharkey - playin hard trance, i couldn't believe it, very good as well, not my thing completely but wish he got back on that Mic..

    Default Best DJ's

Around the SW area i'd have to say either Cross or Ben Eye it's a close one though. For new talent definetly Mark Hashimi. Seen Abyss the other week when he went b2b with Hashimi with Cross ending the night. SPOT ON :!:

For me it has to be Ben-Eye, mainly coz he participates with the crowd and gets the place rockin. I used to love it when he played at the country club. Even if the line up wasn't that great u always had ben-eye on the last set to liven things up. His tune selection is quality and mixing very rarely skips a beat.

Bens mixing was off at the grove...and crowd participation....telling the front row to **** off cos they were too close...didnt see mark doin that...one thing you dont do is shout that at your crowd.... :(

I don't know too much about Ben, and i never seen him before but telling the crowd to **** off isn't going to do him any favours. I think its out of order and rude when people have come to see him and have a good time.
I know he is a regular in the line-ups in Hard Trance clubs, but he has a long way to go to achieve the status of Mark EG and M_Zone and this things like this won't help him....they will go against him.

Even if they were to near, just ask the crowd nicely ...its not hard.

I didn't go to the Grove so I'm judgin him on when he played at The Showbar recently, and the other times Ive seen him. Thats well off about tellin the crowd to fudd off though. :x By the sounds of it , bein so rammed, it must have been bloody difficult to stay away from the front anyway.

it was very difficult to stay away from the front....there were a lot of people there and everyone was bein pushed forward....there was no protection to the decks from the crowd..and a few knobheads had done well to pull down the decor....a mate of mine got shouted at by ben because the leads at the back of the mixer got knocked by someone else causing the sound to be off....i think he needs to sort his temper out or maybe he was in a bad mood? :?

well I've definitely told some ppl to f*** off before, but usually it's very discreet and because one particular person has been a complete and utter ass hole for the whole of my set and really affected the way i'm playing.

I also remember how bad it was at the front that night and it was very, very frustrating for me to mix. It was very, very hard to cue records up when they kept being knocked all the time. You had to be very fast!!!!!

Add up what was going on that night at the front and the hassle and frustration you can imagine the DJ was feeling, and you can see why suddenly a DJ might go 'F*** OFF!!!!!!!'?????????????????????????

I dunno, there has to be a better explaination that just telling his crowd to '**** off'.

nah mark...he sed it because they were too close...shud have seen his face....but who can you blame?

the crowd being pushed forward and wanting to get as close as poss!

i blame the promoters! lol....that just tells you that they need a barrier of some description....do u remember seeing me on fri mark? red hat, short hair, green t-shirt...?

played a wicked set m8...really enjoyed your show! :)
