Fruity slicer - The main use is for drumloops. It chops the loop up into its individual hits, and then puts them in as note in the piano roll, so you can speed up or slow down the loop without changing the pitch. You can also rearange the hits in the loop to make your own groove.

Granulizer - Mainly used for vocals to give them a weird tim stretch effect, like used in a lot of older trance. Put a vocal sampler in, and thent tweak it to see what i mean.
