If someone can help me.
I'm searching for a hardware device with Dolby A, B, C modus inside.
A noise-reduction system.
It's not only for noise reduction, but especially for the extra smoothness it adds to your sound. :)

OUT NOW:
- Orlando Voorn & Juan Atkins "Game One (Ritzi Lee remix)" on Nightvision.
- Cybernetics EP on Labrynth (Beatport release)
OUT SOON:
- Black Noiz on Labrynth (vinyl release)
dolby noise reduction is a big no no for me, all it does is get rid of the top end

Finally getting around to updating my site

As far as I know (not much of an analog tape buff) Dolby was basically a way of trying 2 squeeze some detail from a normal tape where U'd get a mf hiss... so itwas a way of trying 2 fight that!
Z
Djax-Up Beats rec, Minimalistix Rec, Holtzplatten Rec, Invasion Rec, Fined Rec., bla bla bla
Basically it boosts the top end whilst writing to tape and the cuts the top end when playing back ... i'm sure it's a bit more complex than that. If youreally want something that does Dolby you could probably find an old 16 track that's beyond repair with working dolby bits ... a lotof the big tape machines have seperate units for the noise reduction.
But it seems like a lot of heartache for something relatively unexciting.
