In all honesty it doesn't really bother me that the majority of hardstyle is crap because it's not what I play. It won't kill the genre entirely, merely do it some harm. I have a record box full of hardstyle tunes that have no hennes & cold bass, no screechy synth and no cheesy vocal.

The genre is already evolving into something else, the shit tunes are just the aftermath of fast popularity. Leave them to the suckers that still buy them and forget them. Don't waste your time on them, but don't also completely give up.
