Default midi knob box/midi 2 din sync recommendations

you guys recommended teh yamahaa rm1x and it was great so i would trust your judgement/opinions..

i am looking for 2 things..

1 - a good midi knob box . . this site had a few but i was looking for anyones opinio0ns on actual user use...any good recommendations. ???? these ones look kool but thats about all i got..
    http://www.analogue.org/network/midicbox.htm

2 - a midi to din sync converter box. there was a site www.dinsync.com that sold them but it seems to be down now..
looking to trigger my tb-303 with midi controllers (keyboard/sequencer/drum machines etc.) i have a 707 but would like to use other options as well.
any specific brands or sites you can recommend? i only need 1 or 2in and outs..
(midi INPUT to din sync OUTPUT to go into the 303 din sync inputs i guess.)

    any help is appreciated...thanks

For MIDI to DIN you need Philihp Rees, they've been doing it for years and years

Also you might want to try the behringer range for MIDI controllers, cheaper, not as amazing quality as the doepfer stuff but still pretty damn good for the money.

just saw the sync has been discontinued :( you might want to try to find one second hand.

    try here http://www.colinfraser.com/m2d/m2d.htm

Will give you Din Sync and Midi to CV, you can also buy a kit that'll give you midi control of the filter on the 303.

Yeh... Gonna get one methinks for my SH101 cos there's a kit to do filter and mod depth via midi on that, which could be niiiiiiiice to have all that midi'd up at last...

It's a nice touch having the midi thru switchable to din sync on the box, though less worry for me if I do need it 'cos the drumstation kicks that out.

Doesn't look like too much scary hacksawing the kit either...

Oh why did I just fork out on an expensive flight case this month, when my gf's got a month in hand on her new job too...

Ho Hum... Maybe I need to pimp her down Spencer Place...
