To be honest, I imagine a sampler VSTi (e.g. Kontakt) is going to be at least as hungry as a synth VSTi, if not more... Originally Posted by bmovie

yep sample robot
or
i create a midi track with ascending notes bounce that down to audio and then chop it up in recycle and send it to my sampler , ready mapped and chummy. the reason i do this is because the
filters and envelopes in my sampler are nicer sounding than most soft synths and plus my computer is ancient and creakingSTAR WARS IS ALMOST AS CRAP AS TOLKIEN
