personally speaking it doesn't look like rowland is coming across as argumentative, he's just stating a different view point, if every thread is just full of people agreeing, this place would become really boring and non productive

It wasnt that he was being argumentative, its just he comes across this is a thread he cares little about i.e this is SUCH a boring internet topic and so old hat...

Well it ISNT ....its a production question and a good one at that. Tempo is a fundamental question and those who are interested in the nitty gritty are only to be applauded.

SO why is it that rowland the bastard needs to chip in with a negative? Cmon man, fess up? why be like that? What does it achieve? Do you think people are going to steal your secrets or is it that you havnt actually thought deeply enough into it to even CARE about the little things such as TEMPO? Do you run at the same boring tempo everytime or have you been interested enough to try and work it out?[ /ANNOYED]

You say it isnt thinking oustide boundaries? but no offence to the others, but everyones tempo seems to be in the same range.. apart from the 70BPM one... thinking oustide boundaries IS about asking questions...

Sure trying to find out what tempo people here write their music at smacks of copying or emulating, but thats a step on the road to production in any genre... most of all techno.

Im sorry about some of my comments, TBH i DIDNT mean them personally, but then i dont KNOW you at all and its easy to pass verbal wind [quote chris here later..] but harder to know the person. im attacking your comments but not you.
