Smile Record Of The Year 2006?

    RECORD OF THE YEAR 2006:

Whats it going to be and why? Just one record per BOA member please!

    For me it's...

Ant & Nick Grater - Acid Jammer - Routemaster #59.

    A: Acid Jammer - http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF239452-01-01-01.mp3
    B: Harties Hats - http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF239452-01-02-01.mp3

This absolutely beats the lips off of anything thats been released this year (so far) for me.

This is the sound I fell in love with, this is the sound of London town, this is the sound of the underground, this is fu*king avin'it mate! :)

Taylor and Gold - Sycophant - Cluster 81

the beautiful melodic break really throws you until it hits back in with a classic vocal hook and monster arpeggiated synthy/bass thingy

But as that doesn't count, cos it's not a record yet.

I'm going to go for.....Acid test (15 I think) Windowlickers day out. Dynamic Intervention and Mobile Dogwash. Proper sick acid tune. Just the way i likes it.

i cant remember if the dynamo city bomb in yer ass/frustration frustration release was early 2006 or not... if so it would get the vote for me - 2 cracking acid tunes on one record...

    and if not then

    i think that i would say the 4x 4 x 2? paul langley sexual predator e.p
all the tunes on this record are great!!!

    Only one record ?

2006 was a good year for techno,
so i prepared my fav releases list from 06:

    1. Cluster 80 - AP & DJ Zoid - Outta Control
My one of the best release in 2006, great, massive kick drum by AP, destroy every dance floor around the globe. Great job guys!

    2. Hydraulix 13.6 - Mark Ankh - 4th Dimension
What a tune! This is techno with i like the most!
Remix by dave the drummer rocks! This release will be a classic!

    3. Traum Schallplatten 79 - Extrawelt - Schmedding
Deep, melodic tech-house style with minimal/electro influences.
Another great extrawelt release after zu fuss tune.
Recommended for everybody who loves slower deeper sounds.

    4. Sound Evulution - Mark Ankh - Let Me Be Your Fantasy EP & Boogeyman EP
Matrk Ankh style rocks! Got these two releases and i love both!
Every track there is total banging and kickin my ass. Gimme more tunes from him please! (Mark Ankh'o'mania?)

    5. Monoid 43 - Adam Jay & Brian Kage - Emergence
Yeah emergence tune its a most deeper techno tune from 2006.
Slow build a atmosphere then kick by massive deep kick drum.

    6. Relic 03 - Global Warming EP
Valentino Kanzyani Homo Moralis track its one of the greatest tune in 2006! Deep and funky, great sounding! Must be playing very loud.
Next year will be for tunes like this.

    7. Routemaster 59 - Ant & Nick Grater - Acid Jammer
Great back to acid techno essential, this release remind me the best moments from best smitten and routemaster records few years ago!
Big thanks for this record guys!

    8. Scythe Squadron 01 - Osmo - Soul Crusher
Yeah one of first polish label with a hard nrg tunes.
I hate nrg! its boring! But to be honest this release is quite good.
Osmo tune rocks, no hoovers, no cheese, just be brutal!
This release keep on nrg scene alive,
something fresh with the same sounding rest nrg releases.
